Oh God! This sounds like a person who has decided to be happy with unhappiness…and own it! My question is, would you want your life for your children? If the answer is No, then you need to do something, because children learn from what they see and they are picked up on all you think you were hiding.

I’m really sorry you hard a rough childhood and if you would admit, it has influenced your current situation. Seems you have made your peace with it… but for your children to continue the cycle? I don’t know.
